If something goes wrong, this page is the first place to check. PromptDraft is designed to work offline and keep your drafts on your Mac, so support usually starts with version, macOS version, and backup status.

Before you contact support

  • Check the app version in the About screen.
  • Check your macOS version.
  • If your prompt library matters, export a backup before major changes.
  • Write down what you were doing just before the problem happened.

What information helps most?

App version, macOS version, what action caused the issue, whether the problem is reproducible, and whether the prompt library had already been backed up.

Where is data stored?

PromptDraft stores its prompt library on your Mac. Backup export/import is available from Settings.

What if image attachments fail?

Try again with drag and drop or file selection, then confirm you still have access to the original file location and enough disk space.
