PromptDraft is designed to keep prompt drafting simple and local. This policy explains what the app does with your data.

PromptDraft stores prompt text, tags, favorites, recent-use metadata, and image references on your Mac so that you can reuse your drafts later.

When you export a backup, the backup file is created only because you explicitly requested it from Settings.
